 The direct value of receiving a Reiki treatment is most evident when one has already manifested some conscious form of dis-ease into their physical structure. This generally implies that, for whatever reason, whether karmic or conditional, what is unconsciously calling your attention to release, has not been addressed by your personality self to heal. This causes some reaction on the physical level in the form of continued discomfort, or at times, the creation of a specific malady which will now gain your attention, despite the ego's resistance to deal with the problem at hand. It is at this point, that the Grace and Divinity and purity of the Reiki system shine most. It is in the actual hands-on application of the practitioners "touch" and the response to that touch by the client that releases the knot of resistance to healing because one can literally "feel" the healing taking place. This has the effect of tricking the ego's false sense of dis-ease into BELIEVING and knowing it is healing.
An apt metaphor could be the famous saying, "music calms the savage beast". Particularly in the case of an advanced dis-ease to which the client is often attached, albeit unknowingly, the Reiki touch and application over time can go a long way in allowing the client to BELIEVE he / she can be healed and that the dis-ease is actually an illusion.
Of course, at any time, even in periods of wellness and prosperity, a Reiki treatment can gently bolster and enhance the immune system and over all "wellness" of the client, fending off future dis-ease. Languages of Liquid Light now offers only full Reiki sessions (of one and-a-half hours) which can within this format address any specific problem areas or simply provide a full body treatment.

REIKI I / REIKI TRAINING
During this workshop, you will become attuned to the 1st degree / level of the Reiki system of healing originally taught by Master Mikao Usui himself. Basically, Reiki means [Rei- spiritual wisdom and Ki- life force energy] so that when the process is activated within you, you are empowered to serve as a conduit for the Universal Life Force Energy that sustains us all and can then offer healing to yourself and others. You will receive a manual of technical instructions as well as a certificate of authenticity. Following the Usui Ryoho tradition of Reiki, you will be embedded with the first two Reiki symbols which will enable you, to indeed, give a Reiki treatment to yourself or another person, as well as pets, plants, spaces, etc. Through guided meditation, you will meet and interact with your Reiki guide(s) and learn how to call upon them for assistance when initiating a session. All of the hand positions will be demonstrated for you, and you will participate in paired practice (both in chair and on table). We will explore the history of Reiki and discuss the five Reiki principles, as well as experiment with breathing techniques and points of interest in facilitating a treatment professionally.
REIKI II / ADVANCED TRAINING
This degree of attunement is for those who desire to practice professionally, or for those serious minded Light Workers who wish to deepen their own personal connection to Source. Here you will receive three (3) more Reiki symbols; merge deeply with the Angelic Forces that monitor the Reiki process and explore techniques of treatment, including long distance healing. You will also receive a complete manual of technical instruction and a certificate of authenticity for this level of study. All ethical application pertaining to conducting a professional session will be examined. Completion of Reiki I with Languages of Liquid Light is pre-requisite to participate at this level. If you have been attuned to Reiki I elsewhere, or wish to refresh after a long time away from the practice of Reiki, an interview is required before admittance.

REIKI III / MASTER LEVEL
Completion of Reiki I and II with Languages of Liquid Light or other credible establishment is required to participate in this course. Here you will attain the Master symbols for the Usui as well as the Tibetan lineage of Reiki. We will explore the interplay of other traditions and you will be given symbols from other lineages, such as Karuna Reiki that can assist you in your practice. We will share and explore the ethical application of advanced techniques and hand positions that will support you in treating the more problematic and sensitive needs of your clients, such as a specific debilitating disease, a permanent physical affliction or deformity and even sexual dysfunction. You will also receive for this Master Level a certificate of authenticity and a complete manual of technical instruction. You will also be given guidelines in how to conduct your own Reiki courses, and we will examine the pros and cons of offering Reiki as opposed to another healing modality and where Reiki and another form of healing can work in conjunction with each other.
